If your child has a secured place at Broad Chalke Primary School we will be offering the following to support their transition into EYFS. You will be notified of the each event via email. 

New Parents Induction Meeting 

This is an informative session led by key members of staff to inform and reassure you as you approach September, when your child starts school. 

Stay and Play Sessions

We offer two sessions for you and your child to stay and play in the EYFS provision. This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your child to get to know their new surroundings and feel safe. You and your child will also have the opportunity to begin forming friendships with other families. 

Home Visits

In September we offer a home visit which is an opportunity for the class teacher and teaching assistant to see you and your child in your home. We often find these visits invaluable and gives us the opportunity to learn more about your child's personal interests and hobbies which we can then support them with in school.
