We know that engaging pupils in reading is essential. We prioritise regular story time in all of our classes and use English and Guided Reading lessons as an opportunity to expose pupils to texts that are rich, diverse, appropriate and engaging.

As well as engaging pupils through the text-choice we offer in school, we have also created ‘Recommended Reading Lists: Our Top 25’ for each year group which parents and carers can use to enrich pupils’ reading diets at home (please click on the links below).
